It was a daytime, garden wedding on a Friday and we were super lucky with the weather. I walked up the aisle to Somewhere Over a Rainbow (this version) and felt a strange sense of calm. There was a moment there - as I carefully placed my ginormous stilleto heels onto the sloping grass bank - when I suddenly realised everyone there is my friend. The sea of faces was actually just a friendly gathering... the 'audience' were my family. And there was Calum, my destination, standing there in his grey suit like the solid rock that he has always been for me. I wasn't nervous anymore. It was picture perfect. My biggest surprise was when I started crying halfway through my vows, and the second biggest was when Cal swopped down and hoisted me up for the kiss. Totally did not see that butt-grab coming.

And this picture (taken by a guest) was too cute to leave out.
That's all for my intense wedding-picture-week-of-posts spree! I think I've got it out of my system now.

Tomorrow.... I release the most honest blog post ever published. As long as I don't wimp out.

What surprised you on your wedding day?
