Interior Design: the Mom Cave

Hola!

Have you ever felt the need to design a really feminine space that would be a little hideaway from the world?

I did...

I love doing virtual designs and couldn't help imagining this space (based on a guest room at my parent's house) with a mom-cave-makeover. It's something that would work on a neutral background and be really calming, while still having little splashes of colour and pattern.

It's probably a bit too feminine for your average family room, right?

{The colours are calm with a few little fun splashes of yellow and aquas.}

Here's what you need:

Oh, and the wallpaper on the back of the shelves is Amrapali by Designer's Guild, and the pink desk chair is upholstered {virtually} in their Obrione Cassis range.

Wouldn't it be fun to create this room as a girl cave for yourself, or a 'Mom cave' for your mum?

Hope you're having a lovely week!

P.S - I am considering doing virtual designs like this more often, please contact me by email if you are interested in letting me practice on you and one of your rooms!
