The weekend that was

We had a pretty spectacular Easter weekend here down under - it began with my early-birthday-house-warming-party (I wore this outfit here - after some last-minute drama...)

...and ended with a nice run along the beach tonight, trying to burn of some of the chocolate. After all my noble attempts at saying I don't care about chocolate this year, I have to confess I got a little excited at seeing this stash that my Mum brought along to our Easter holiday in the Wairarapa! Quote: "I was worried there wouldn't be enough". Thanks Mum!

We enjoyed having a few friends and family around for meals in our freshly-finished living room (which is also our dining room ;)  ) and getting out in the sun!

How was your Easter? Did you immediately regret your choclatey decisions, or were you able to show some restraint?!?
